Hong Kong - Made to Measure Boots
I will be working in Hong Kong for a two month period, and my wife will be joining me for a short break in that time.
Can anyone recommend anywhere that custom makes made to measure female boots? My wife has trouble finding boots that will fit her, and needs wider calf fitting. I don't know how long they would take to make, though my wife could go for a fitting and I could pick up later when she has returned home.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I hope someone else will answer your question about a Hong Kong shoemaker but in the meantime your wife could check out this website: www.duoboots.com They sell boots with both bigger and smaller calf fittings

Hi
I can give it a go but please forgive me for the vagueness and uncertainty!
I used to work in Admiralty and used to see 2 shoe shops which I believe were selling handmade /made to measure shoes. (NB NOT sure that they made boots).
They were in the Admiralty Centre building and they were a little hidden away. (If it's not the Admiralty Centre then it's the United Centre). I think there's only about 3 floors with shops in them so maybe worth a look around?
Apologies if it ends up to be a wild goose chase...

There is definitely a shop in the Princes Building that offers made-to-measure footwear. It's a very small shop -- it looks like a typical shoe repair shop in the US. Unfortunately, I don't its name, but the Princes Building is fairly small and you should be able to find the shop either through the information board or by asking a guard.
The Princes Building is in Central, adjacent to the MTR station.
