Hong Kong Hotels in Easter

Hi,

I just finished talking with my travel agent. We initially wanted to stay in Park Lane in Causeway Bay because we are familiar with that area.. She told me that Park Lane is now at 200$ a nigh during easter week, and Exelsior is 170$. Does anyone have any alternatives that have the same quality as Park Lane and Excelsior but much cheaper?

We prefer a causeway bay hotel, as we've never stayed outside causeway bay yet..

Thanks!

-Jay

Economy is good and prices are very high everywhere I'm looking. I doubt you're get similar hotel that's "much cheaper".

Other Causeway Bay and Tin Hau hotels include the Regal Hong Kong, Metropark, Rosedale, L'Hotel. And at least two boutique hotels - Jia and the new Lanson Place.

If you want an even better hotel for about that price, you may want to try the Langham Place in Mongkok. 5* facility, for HK$1,450 (~$180) each night 4/6-4/9.

We really liked the Langham Mongkok - we stayed at a really good price during their soft opening during Chinese New Year 2005. It joins to a big shopping mall & there are good transport connections - so although it is out of the usual hotel areas we really likes it. Stayed in Club - great cocktail time, food/snacks beautifully presented. Nice rooms & bathrooms & a new area to explore!
