Hong Kong - Contact Lens Solution?

I usually carry on my contact lens solution, Boston for Gas Perms. In light of the recent restrictions and issues Air Canada is having getting baggage out of Toronto, can I find this type of solution in Hong Kong if my bags are lost?

I don;t know your specific contact lens solution, but I found that basically everything is available in Hong Kong...

Kathie is right. I remember seeing boxes of contact lenses - and solution for sale.
They even sell contraceptive pills without prescription!

I use Boston gas permeable solutions. I used to get mine from Mannings chemists in HK - but any opticians (and there are loads) should stock them. Have a nice time!

I live in Hong Kong and my experience is that this is a place where you can find anything made anywhere (I am currently looking for Jersey shore salt water taffy and fully expect to find it soon).

There are two main pharmacy chains, Watson's and Mannings. There are many smaller pharmacies too. The main chain optical shops seem to be Lenscrafters and the Optical Shop, but there are hundreds of mom and pop shops too. (Getting glasses made here is a good bargain.)

If your luggage really does not make it with you and you want to get the solution right then, there is a Watson's Pharmacy IN the airport arrivals hall. After you come out of baggage claim through the glass doors and walk out into the huge main arrivals hall, it will be on your right along the wall if you come out Door A and on your left along the wall if you come of Door B. (What door you come out of depends on what baggage carousel your baggage is supposed to be on) The shop name is on a teal blue/green background with white writing.

Your hotel can tell you the nearest pharmacy or optical shop. Your hotel sundry shop may also stock contact lens solution. Stores tend to open between 9 and 10 and stay open until 7 or 9, they tend to open at 10 am in malls but stay open later as well. Most every store is open on Sunday. Your hotel could also tell you where there would be a 24 hour pharmacy if you arrive late at night and need the solution before morning.

Cicerone always gives such great answers!
my only tiny word would be to say if I remember correctly Watsons never had Boston/Bausch & Lomb gas permeable solutions, which is why I ended up in Mannings!
