Hong Kong & one other place?

I am going to Hong Kong in October and have never been to Asia. I want to also fly to another country for a 4 day visit. Not into museums, more into animals and scenery and snorkeling mostly and nature, but do enjoy getting lost in a big city. And do not want to get another visa. Bangkok? Taiwan? Vietnam? Manila? Just me and I am very fit. thanks ahead, paul t

Vietnam requires a visa, not difficult to obtain.

Thailand does not require a visa. VN, Cambodia, Laos do require visas. Cambodia and Laos can be obtained upon arrival, VN must be arranged in advance. Manila and Taiwan do not require visas.

You mention you do not want to get another visa - Hong Kong does not require a visa, but mainland China does. I have been assuming you carry a US, Canada, UK or EU passport.

FYI BKK recently surpassed London as the most visited city in the world. We plan a 1 wk. stay there in Oct. on our way back from India.

For 4 days, try to choose a destination that involves only one flight.

Bali is good for scenery, nature and culture and there are non-stop flights every day. You can get a visa on arrival.

Taiwan for sure. Very very short flight, no visa required, and easy to get down to the beach and to the more jungle areas.
