Hong Kong Airport to Guangzhou
We would like from Hong Kong Airport to Guangzhou . From what I understand there are buses available but train station and ferry are not near by the airport unless we take a taxi. Is there a bus/coach that is better than other? We will have one middle size lugguage each, will the bus/coach be able to accomodate it? Do we have to take our luggage off the coach when we are at the border to China? Does it take a long time at the border? We will have some Hong Kong cash and Canadian traveller checks and Canadian cash. Is is better to convert some RMB at Hong Kong Airport? Will we have a problem converting Canadian traveller check or cash? We are going to attend the Canton Fair. Does anyone what is the appropriate business attire? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Buses are basically the same. Take the one that's departing next. I think there are 2-3 companies that run this route.
There will be room for your luggage.
When the coach gets to the Hong Kong side of the border, you need to get off, but no luggage. After clearing that, you get back on coach to drive to the Chinese side. This time, everything off. After Chinese immigration/customs, you look for your bus once again to continue the journey.
Make sure you note the bus name/number and license plate; if there are other people on the bus that uses a foreign passport and looks like he/she knows the routine, follow him/her.
Time it takes depend on whether it's during major holidays, so it's hard to tell.
You can change money in HK Airport, but if you're changing from C$, you'll paying for commission twice, first from C$ to HK$, then to RMB. You may want to just wait until you're in China to change most of your money.
Don't know about attire, but I guess it depends on who you are and what you're doing there.

Thank you so much for the info. I went to this link but it only stop at 2 hotels. Is there a better site that has all three bus company that you mentioned which stop at more hotels. We need to be be either at Guangdong Hotel or Rosedale Hotel which are south of the Pearl River and as close to a subway as possible. Thanks.
