Hong Kong

On this my 3rd visit to Hong Kong, strongly recommend staying in Hong Kong rather than Kowloon. More sites to visit, better hotels in general and far better restaurants. Star Ferry can always get you over to Hong Kong in 5 minutes.Hong Kong is undergoing further street paving etc. and if possible avoid staying there.

There are 2 "parts" to Hong Kong(guess you didn't know that) one is called Hong Kong and the other side is Kowloon. They are lumped together as a destination but are two completely separate places.

Uhh there is more parts too hong kong but I'm in no mood too look them up right now.

anyways I recomend Kowloon since it has better hotels and far better restaurants. you can take a subway or star ferry too Hong Kong island.. yet their is a lot of construction in kowloons,Tsim Sha Tsui area. where most of the big boy hotels are..

FYI: Hong Kong consist of four main areas...Hong Kong ISLAND, Kowloon, New Territories and the Outlying Islands. When you speak of Hong Kong it refers to all four areas.
