Honeymoon planning in December
 

Hi,
We are a couple of around 30 years of age and planning for our Honeymoon in early December 2022. We are looking for some help in setting up an itinerary for the same. Our departure and arrival both would be at Kolkata airport. We are looking for a trip for around 7-8 days.

We both like the beaches and are not much of party people. We would like to spend time sightseeing, leisure, enjoy local cuisine and various other activities. We would be traveling on a moderate budget and would want to avoid luxury stays.

No dearth of beautiful places for Honeymooning in India. Just to mention a few:
a. Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The CGH Earth property is good, so is the Taj. These may be expensive but very good. On the way back, you will need one night's stay at Port Blair, in case the ferry timings go awry.
b. CGH Chitoor Kottaram, near Ernakulam Cochin.
c. Kumarakom Lake Resort.
d. Taj Fisherman's Cove, a few miles south of Chennai.
e. Neeramaya Surya Samudra, Kovalam.

I am planning to go Ooty in next year for honeymoon. Is it the best place to for honeymoon?
