Honeymoon in China?

Hi, I am getting married in Nov and we were thinking of China as our honeymoon destination...any comments?

Personally, I wouldn't do it. Most of the places in China are too crowded, too noisy. Not a good place to just enjoy between yourselves.

Depends on what you like. If you like to see adventure, it is great. A lot ot see. Plan it right and it will be OK but not sure how much beach time relaxing you will see. A lot will be urban cities very crowded, but personally, I like that. If you want relaxing, go to Jakarta or Malyasia or Thialand beaches. What do you like to do and how much have your traveled in the past? What are your interests?

I agree with the above. It all depends on your purpose. For beaches or luxury travel, forget about it.

But each popular cities in China have many sights to visit, mostly historical one. If that's you want, I'm sure you will have a memorable experience.

Hi

It all depends on what you are into. My wife and I had a pretty nice vacation to China in March last year and we got to see and do a lot. This year we went to the Maldives and that was also great but a totally different vacation compared to China. I have posted trip reports and pictures from my trips to many destinations om my homepage gardkarlsen.com. Maybe you can get some ideas there :-)

Loved China... just got back... but the beds even in a nice hotel are hard as a rock. my wife and I were surprised. Since it is a honeymoon, thought you'd like to know :)

I am certain you can find a honeymoon location that has better toilets and food. As much as I enjoyed my 2 trips to China, I've tru;y experience better places. How about Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok? A lot more Westerized and sanitary.
