Help with Sunrise Express Tokyo to Takamatsu please
 

Hi all,

I would like to do this trip in March 2025 as it will ultimately give us an extra day by doing the travel at night.I understand I can't purchase the tickets until a month out but I have a couple of questions though -

Do you have to have a JR Pass to purchase a ticket for the Sunrise Express
I cannot find the actual price of the trip.
I have seen conflicting reports re accommodation - does the Sunrise Express have a twin cabin (not bunks)

Any further information would be much appreciated.

No.

You want the SUNRISE SETO with twin beds (Type B, I think). Try the following website between 5:30 am – 11:30 pm JST.

West Japan Railway Company - Select Train (westjr.co.jp)

It is SUNRISE SETO TWIN (car B) and not available Aug 1 to 14.

Use your browser back button to change dates. Any time will work because only 1/day
