a. Your itinerary, if I read it correctly, would take you to Jodhpur immediately after your arrival. Incase you are traveling from the US entailing a flight of nearly 18 hours or more, you will need a couple of nights in Delhi to begin with. It will help refresh & revitalize for sightseeing. Also, a bit of history is a must for you to appreciate your subsequent journey, as the monuments, you shall be visiting are all somehow related to the happenings in Delhi. So to make a tour of Delhi & visit the monuments there is important. Moreover, you are spending four days at the end of your journey in Delhi. Better split them & have two days at the end for last minute shopping.
b. Two nights in Jodhpur are fine. Thereon you may proceed to Osiyan Camps.
c. Three days in Deogarh can be reduced to two (btw, Sardargarh is enjoying better ambience) & one utilized for Ranakpur, where you have the breathtaking Jain Temples. O/n in Fatehbagh Ranakpur.
d. From Deogarh you may proceed to Bambora, thereon to Dungarpur & finally arrive into Udaipur. This is just a casual appraisal, a lot of factors need to be professionally looked at for a fine itinerary.
Very best for your plans!

Thanks so much for the information. I think I will take your advice and stay 2 days in Delhi. I have heard that Dungarpur is not worth the trip. Any comments on that. The palace sounds fantastic. Also, if we stayed at Sardargarh could we do Ranakpur and Kumbalgarh from there? I did want to see the Taj Mahal, as well as Varanasi but I told myself that would be my next trip. We do not want to spend time in airports. I also wanted to see Bundi but couldn't figure out how to do that without a lot of driving. I guess my next trip will be to the west.

a. Infact, Sardargarh, a brand new heritage luxury property, is a bit closer while traveling from Ranakpur or Kumbhalgarh. An overnight at Ranakpur or Kumbhalgarh is a must & you must do the jain temples before overnight, as these open to visitors at 12 noon.
b. The palace in Dungarpur is in itself a fine property with carved pavilions, mirror mosaic & a lovely dining hall. It is meant for complete relaxation in an idyllic surround. The Baneshwar tribal fair takes place near Dungarpur.
c. Bundi, is a typical small historical town with a nice fort & chatri cenotaphs & continue to Kota for an overnight in umed bhawan palace. From Kota you may take the morning train to Delhi- in about 6 hours. But as you said, Bundi & Kota is eastern Rajasthan, a good 185 miles from Udaipur.
Happy Travels!
