Hello Hanoi Get Together Nov. 16th
Greetings,
Some of you may have read my post about www.hellohanoi.org. This group of people will be hosting a party on November 16th from 3-5, location to be announced in a few days.
This is an opportunity to learn about the culture of Hanoians and for us to share information about our countries.
Let me know if you would like to attend!
I will post the location as soon as I find out. I believe it will be hosted at someone's home.
Cheers!

I am sorry I wasn't able to respond. I ended up delaying my flight from Luang Prabang to Hanoi. I was blessed with the opportunity to stay in a very remote village 6 hours by boat and a 2 1/2 hour hike in from LP. I had the most amazing 4 days of my life there!
Any way, today I hooked up with Linh from www.hellohanoi.org and she and I went through the Old Quarter and also to the Pottery Village. She then took me to her home and introduced me to her Mom. They invited me to dinner tonight but I already had a commitment with a woman I met who is also from Portland, OR! Small world!
I will be going to lunch at Linh's home tomorrow with two other traveller's I met.
www.hellohanoi.org is a wonderful organization and I am so glad to have the opportunity to spend some time with Linh and her Mom!
I will provide a full report when I return to Portland.
Cheers!
