Buying Japan rail pass in Ireland or online?
Hi there do you travellers buy your Japan rail passes from a travel agent or an online site? We are based in Ireland, there seems to be a UK travel agency offering passes in Ireland but no Irish agency, they charge 5% admin fee + 3% credit card handling fee (ouch!).
Anyone any advice on where to purchase please?
Any online sites you recommend?
We are flying Sat 18th Oct so I need to get cracking!
Thank you

There are a couple of places in Dublin listed here.

Ordered mine online from japanspecialist.co.uk (I'm based in London).
If I'm buying something from a non GBP£ site, I always pay in the currency of the site, and let my credit card company do the currency exchange. That's nearly always more favourable than allowing the retailer site to do it (if they even offer such a service).
