has anyone used precisionreservations.com

Has anyone used presicionreservations.com? Their prices are really good and I would love to hear if anyone has dared touse them and had a positive experience!
Thanks!

I have used this site but it was under the name planetholiday.com - don't know if it is a "sister" company or an acquisition. If you look at the two sites, they are similar in style and all of the prices are the same. I had no problems with them by the way but I have found that recently, asiarooms.com and asiahotels.com have better pricing. They are just as reliable.

Thanks Craig. In this case,precisionreservations.com has a very very slightly cheaper rate. the only thing is that asia rooms doesnt take american express and i was hoping to get some miles!

Cindy, I haven't used precisionreservations but I have contacted them regarding their prices. Be aware that their prices do NOT include tax and service, at least not for the hotels I asked about.

Thank you. When it gets down to the booking site - it does include what seems to be about 10% which I think says taxes. I'm using them though a little skeptical because I am trying to book a room at the ritz in bali and many sites are saying there is no availability but precision... allows you to submit a request for a room and then they come back to you in 2 days if they can confirm it. I'm hoping....thanks for the heads up on the taxes. i'm now hoping they can get the room!

Cindy, we have used Planetholiday (Precision) several times, and have never had a problem. Maybe we were lucky, but they always had availability for the dates we wanted. Our payment was not processed until 10 days before our arrival. They email you the vouchers you need to check in, so make sure to print them out and take them with you. I also took the precaution of emailing the vouchers to my Hotmail account so they'd be available if I lost them!
I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for internet bookings.

Linda

Linda, what a great idea to email the vouchers to a web address! I'm going to do that with all my vouchers, just in case. Thanks for that tip.

Thanks Linda. That is a great idea.

we used precision reservations.com last year for the tamarind village in chiang mai.
it was affordable and we had live chat with the rep.
we also booked a bangkok riverside hotel and then cancelled it (rebooked at the marriott resort and spa on another website)
and they cancelled it....no questions asked with a $10 fee.
we will use them again

I used precision several times this month. I particularly liked their live chat service and used it to change/add reservations at the last minute.
