Has anyone used asia-hotels.com.

Has anyone used asia-hotels.com. I am considering the prepay option but I am concerned about this. Is it a reputable site?<BR>Does anyone have any other suggestions/experinece for website booking?

I did....last year. Booked a Hong Kong hotel room w/asia-hotels.com. Like you, rather nervous about the whole idea of giving out my Visa number, etc., but...everything worked out fine! Asia-hotel's a very up-front, professional outfit. I will not hesitate to use them again in booking my next room in Asia.

I used asia-hotels.com to book the hotel rooms for my parents trip to Malaysia and Singapore 2 years ago. They didn't encounter any problem at all.

I've asia-hotels.com 4 or 5 times in the past 3 years with no problems whatsover. Just make sure your dates are firm and you do your research as a refund will be hard to get.

I've used them too with no problems.

I am also looking for hotels in China, Could you let me know if asias-hotels rates are great deals?

In checking the rates for half a dozen hotels in Shanghai, I found that asia-hotels.com's rates were about the same as or in some cases actually higher than the rates quoted on the hotel's own website. The ones where the hotel's own site displayed lower rates were all deluxe properties so perhaps that makes a difference. I would definitely check several sources for rates before booking.
