Has anyone stayed at Nai Lart Hotel in Bangkok?

Has anyone stayed at Nai Lart Hotel-a Raffles hotel? It looks like a good location and is only 5 floors. How does it compare to Four Seasons? The rates are definitely cheaper.

It's called the "Nai Lert". It used to be the Hilton. Nothing that special when it was the Hilton.

I did stay at Baan Orapin, and I did post about it, so I don't know why people are saying nobody knows anything about it. Anyhow, I loved Baan Orapin. It's a little less than your proposed price range but it's lovely, Lanna style architecture, nice garden, family owned and run, and close to the nicest restaurants in town, including the famous Gallery restaurant. It's not in the middle of everything, which Tamarind village is, and so it felt like a nice oasis. Yet it's walking distance to the main attractions in Chiang Mai.

We stayed there in November at the same time as official reopening. It has been very well done up -quite retro 60s style. Rooms are comfortable and worthwhile getting view on beautiful gardens. Pool and large gardens are stunning and certainly superior to all those chekced out - Sheratons, Westin, BAnyan Tree. Did not check out 4 Seasons. It was not the busiest in terms of restaurant/bar comared to Conrad say, but it only just reopened. We thought it was greta value at $89 per night excl breakfast. A friend of mine knew it in Hilton days and said that it was really well renovated and that it had got tired before renovation- so JamesA point can be put in context. Location is good for shops and skytrain and easy to get on to airport expressway.
