Happy New Year to you too, Pook! Seems we chose the worst year ever, weather-wise to skip our annual Asian excursion. We will be heading over in late June/July however - but to Malaysia/Singapore and not to our beloved Bangkok this time. Anyone up for a GTG in Singapore?

Happy Rabbit Year to everyone from Georgetown, Malaysia (horrible traffic getting in from the airport, but dead quiet now). It rained on me in Singapore, but no floods - I was reading about floods in southern Malaysia after I got here.

Hosting a GTG today with 6 Fodorites - wow! Should be fun with the nice weather and during a holiday week too.

Craig - will you be stopping by Bangkok on your way to Malaysia/Singapore? By that time the new Thai Tiger Airways "might" have started and could hop down to see you in SQ.

MaryW - Yes definately if you are here! I never did write a trip report for Western Australia but Margaret River and your area ranks as one of our favourite destination.

Thursdaysd - the weather here is still perfect at the moment but I do feel that it's getting warmer everyday.
