Hanuman Hua Hin Kiteboarding World Cup
Just came back from a wonderful weekend in Hua Hin where the weather was perfect and the water was warm and clear.
Currently Hua Hin is hosting the Kiteboarding World Cup, from the 11 to 20 March, so if anybody is in Thailand and want to watch some of the best kiteboarders in action then head to Hua Hin.

I am glad you all like the photos. I couldn't believe how high these guys could jump, some of the jump were over 30 feet high!
Kathie,
Yes it's right outside the IC, the IC is one of the sponsor for the event.
bookchick,
Likewise the closes thing I've done to kiteboarding was windsurfing which was years... ago.
I didn't bring a video camera but here's a short video taken with my camera: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8bKvenBx0o

Nicky,
It's roughly 1/2 way from the centre of town to the Grand Hyatt. The first picture was taken from my house but what you can't see is that the hotel is flanked by 2 condominiums, albeit the 2 most expensive in HH.

Nicky,
It would be interesting to compare the two hotels. I haven't seen the rooms at either one but I like the grounds of the IC better and the location is nicer too IMO. Perhaps you can be the first to compare them and if I'm in HH while you're there you can just walk over for to visit us!
evelyne,
Thank you for your compliment. I hope you will enjoy it too and if you have any question about Hua Hin do let me know.

Pook, now that would be great. Muffin would love to meet you both, and it would be great to catch up with you again. I'll keep you posted once i firm everything up over the next few months.
I jusy found out that the regency club rooms are shut when we are there as they are being renovated, so that makes the IC an even better option!
