Hanoi on November 10-11
 

The Hilton Hanoi Opera has not been available for November 10 since early June, though I easily got a room on points for the weekdays before that.

The Sofitel Metropole rate almost doubles in price from the 9th to the 10th and the 11th is just as high.

What is going on that weekend?

I checked again today and the prices have dropped. The 10th is like the 9th is/was and the 11th is lower than that.

They must have had rooms that were blocked for the summit that were not actually sold and went back into the pool.
