Hanoi Knock Off Purse Shopping?

Anyone know if knock off purses are available in hanoi? Is the quality any good? Any idea on prices?

I did not see any of this type of stuff in Vietnam. But then, I was not looking for it.

I am not a fan of knock-offs. Consider buying locally made items that will be unlike those anyone else is carrying. When I was in Hanoi, I met a Swiss woman who was buying locally crafted purses for her boutique in Zurich. For interesting locally-made purse, take a look at CraftLink, whihc is located across the street from teh Temple of Literature.

Thanks. Will definitely be buying local for some items - artwork type items for home - but I need to find a few "Coach" pursues as well :-) . They are common in CHina, so was wondering if there is a source in Hanoi since I will be there for business in a couple of weeks

Coach isn't popular in Vietnam. Plenty of LV, Gucci knock offs in markets. Perhaps this will change as they are now making bags here in HCMC.

Be sure to check importation regs before you return home. Last I heard, in the US you were allowed to import only one such counterfeit item*, more would be seized.

*One being interpreted, as I understand, as per trademark.
