Hampi. Worth the trip??
 

Hi All:
We are planning 2-week + some days trip to southern India in December-January 15/16 and are trying to decide whether it is worth spending 7 hours to get there from GOa. I know it is a world heritage site so I am reluctant to drop it from thr itinerary. What is your advice?

I didn't think so. There is one really great temple, but much is very ruinous. If it was easier to get to, and there were better facilities once you got there, sure, but it's not and there aren't.
