Guide/Driver Really Needed in KL-HELP

In an earlier thread I read of a Mr. Pau. I wrote to him (assuming he read english) and called his cell bit NO LUCK.
We really need a quality guide for 2 days for trips 50-75 miles outside KL. We want a taste of Malaysia the easy way-without treking but hate group travel of more than 2-4 people.
I would be very greatful for as many leads with contact info as you Fodorite's have. Come on and HELP a fellow traveler.
Thanks.

It's too bad about Mr. Pau. I was the person who used him and posted his name and he was great. He speaks quite good English. What you could do is go over to the Ritz Carlton..KL... and ask the doorman if they know how to reach him as he hangs out in front of the the Ritz. He's Chinese...the only Chinese driver I saw so they would probably know him. Plus, he's been driving for at least a decade. Good luck. If you find him, PLEASE post to me his new cell phone number and address. Happy Travels!

Maybe I took down the wrong phone number. Can you give it to again? If I am unsuccessful, I will work through the Ritz. Thanks.

The number Mr. Pau gave me was 016.383-3137. Hope you can find him. Happy Travels!

Try dialing +6016-383-3137. 60 is the country code for Malaysia.

Another private driver in KL is Tony - he does trips to the airport and trips out of town. He speaks English but I'm not sure how he'd do as a guide. Anyway his mobile number is +6019-223-1267.
