Guenmai off to Singapore/Bangkok
Bye guys. I'm off to Bangkok...via...Tokyo and Singapore tomorrow. If I find anything interesting to post about, I'll try to do it. This,however, will be a very quick vacation. I'm back home on Labor Day. Happy Travels!

Have a wonderful time. Wish I were on my way there as well, but taking care of my sis comes first. BKK will be there for me another time, as will HNL and the GTG I'm going to miss there too.

Have a great trip. Thanks so much for your advice concerning synthetic, moisture wicking fabric and also informing me about the Buzz Off brand of clothing. I am now all set for my first trip to Thailand and Angkor Wat in January. Safe travel.

Thanks folks...I'm in the Singapore Airport right now and my flight is boarding in 15 minutes and where am I...shopping and on the internet. I'd better go before I have to hitchhike to Bangkok! I'll post later.Oh, I just stayed at the airport hotel last night here inside of the airport and it was quite nice....a very sound and restful sleep.Happy Travels!

Too bad we'll miss each other in Singapore. I leave for Bali and Singapore on Tuesday but, aside from the airport for a few hours on Thursday, I won't be in Singapore until Sept 10. It will be our first time actually staying there. I'm excited about it and hoping we fall into the "love it" camp.
How did the Bose headphones work out? I ended up buying a pair of Phillips noise cancelling h'phones. Good although not quite as good as the Bose but at least they fit my little head!

I have a pair and don't get on a plane without them. The outside sound cancelling feature is marvelous. Sometimes I just put them on without it being on any station just to cancel the outside noise. Hope your having fun!
