How to book Incheon Transit Hotel
Last year during the 13 hour layover in Seoul I did not have a reservation at the transit hotel and sleeping in the terminal was less than stellar. This year I am thinking I'll be smart and book ahead but I see on booking.com that it has a 12 hour room and a 24 hour room and check in is at 14:00 and check out is at 12:00.
My flight arrives at 5am and then leaves same day at 6 pm. I can't understand how to book it. Do I book a 24 hour room? Has anyone done this?
Thanks for advise, I'm feeling a bit daft about it. Lori

IMO most airport hotels around the world sell their rooms on an hourly basis as well as the regular day rate. I suggest you email them and ask as their website does not address booking anything apart from the 12 hours or 24 hours with check-in time at 14:00 etc...

Thanks NFZ very helpful response.
Hanuman I did email them and have received no response. Will keep trying, was basically just wondering if anyone has booked through agoda or booking.com using this standard14:00-12:00 time restraint.

Lori, is there a link to the transit hotel on the airport website?
For instance, for booking the transit hotel at Changi, I needed to go to that website, couldn't do it on the various booking sites.

For the Google impaired: Google "Incheon Transit Hotel." The second returned result is the transit hotel itself. On that page you will find hourly rates and a link (on the left) to the reservations page. Use that form to make a hourly reservation, as per their policies.

Hi Lori,
How's it going???
Saw this hotel in November when we transited through. Didn't even know it was there as we stayed in a day room at the adjacent Hyatt at 155.00 for 12 hours

We stayed in the transit hotel on two occasions. Rooms are small but adequate and nice to be able to put your feet up and get some sleep.
That being said, where are you coming from and where are you going? When we came from china it was only a few hour flight. If you want sleep, it's a good idea to book it, otherwise you can pay to go into one of the lounges. We flew Korean air and the lounge was comfortable, had free wi-fi and food. You can whittle away the time with a nice massage or use the free computers.

My problems came from trying to use agoda. I did find their website cuz, yeah I do know how to google, but when trying to book that way it ended up generating a ridiculous amount of emails back and forth with no one understanding some pretty straightforward arrival and departure info....got it worked out, but had to talk to a human on the phone.
I will have Ponheary in tow, after a long flight from LAX, so I didn't want to chance just turning up.
All is well. Next topic.
