Great Bangkok/Suk link
Here is a very informative link about the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok. You'll find out about shopping, hotels, eats, with varying price ranges. Have a look, if you are wondering what is available.
BTW, if you go to ALMOST the bottom, you will find the email link to Patumwan House, one of my favorite cheaper places to stay in the heart of the city. http://wikitravel.org/en/Bangkok/Sukhumvit BTW, it was isismonroe who sent me this link. Thanks, isis!!! Carol |
excellent site with tons of info especially for people not familiar with bkk, but also some interesting info for veterans...

Check out the Main page to this link for other destinations, too!

Carol: This is a great website. We will be in BKK for a month beginning December 26 and hope to stay at the Somerset Suwan Park View Hotel. I am looking forward to your impressions after your July visit. I really hope it is as nice as it looks on the websites.

I always travel with my camera so that I can take photos of my hotel rooms. I post them on my web site. I'll be sure to do that once again with the Somerset. Carol |
Bangkok is a great city to visit. I went there last month and I walked all over town just looking at "stuff" and visiting various well known sites. Here is my Bangkok and Thailand trip report from the last time I visited: http://gardkarlsen.com/thailand2002.htm . I will also make a new trip report after the visit in May :d
