I took a 19 day plus 3 day extension tour of China last June, 1998, and was very pleased. The tour director was excellent, the accomodations were wonderful, the scheduled meals were uniformly good, the attractions we visited were well selected and well paced, and the fellow travelers were a congenial group. Value was excellent. I'd recommend Grand Circle to anyone over 45 or 50: it is a tour company designed for "mature travelers."

I have gone on many tours and last year went with GCT to Australia, New Zealand and Figi. I found them to be very origanized, a great price and good tours. This was my first trip with them and all the people I went with raved about GCT. I am going with my family to China/Japan in November and spoke to people on my last tour and they spoke very highly of GCT for that trip so that is what I'm using. The group was not large about 30. I found they have a lot of groups going out so the 150 could have been many groups going out from GCT. I think you should speak with people at the GCT site.

just as a balance, there have been both positive and negetive comments on GCT....they have had lots of negetives here for the last two years....
