Thanks, that works.

Craig-what time zone is Connecticut in? You seem to be up early.

Craig Jan 13th, 2006 05:13 AM

Andy, I usually get up around 5 - 5:30 Eastern Time. I go on line to read the Wall Street Journal and the Hartford Courant since they don't arrive on my doorstep til about 6:30. When on line, I am always tempted to check the latest developments on Fodors as well. Hopefully this isn't too much information...

Gpanda - what a treat! I've just been revelling in your pictures of your trip and have been truly transported back to some of the places we visited. There were places at Angkor and surrounding temples that were unfamiliar and so that was also interesting. Having had to cancel our trip to Tonle Sap it was nice to get a bit of a sense of that too. Also Artisans D'Angkor - we now have one of the gold lacquer bowls sitting in our kitchen window. When we visited it was lunchtime and apart from some wood carvers, most of the artisans were on a break and so it was good to see photos of some of the items that we saw actually being made.
Where did you see the monkeys?
I have to say that I am really jealous of your elephant encounters, especially in the sea.

The monkeys were outside Angkor Thom.

As noted in my report, Tonle Sap was interesting, but not fascinating. It did not rise to the extraordinary level of the temples.

It may be that we wandered into some relatively obscure nooks in the temples and may have photographed some things upon which you did not stumble.
