Good transportation and accommodation in siem reap

Hi, I gonna go to south east Asia in the next few months. So first I would like to go to Thailand for a week then fly to Ho Chi Minh City for 3 days there and then to Siem Reap for 3 days.

I'm not sure what you are asking for. Are you only needing info about Siem Reap or also about Thailand and HCMC, VN?

Also, I noticed on another thread you asked about what to see in Cambodia. If Siem Reap is where you are headed, you'll want to see some of the temples at Angkor. In Siem Reap you will need transport to/from the temples. Your options are:
bicycle: only practical in the small circuit/grand circuit area and only if you are acclimated to the heat and humidity
motorcycle: riding on the back of a motocycle with a driver
tuktuk: can carry two people and the driver
car and driver: has the advantage of air conditioning

You can arrange for any of these once you get to Siem Reap.

Do buy Dawn Rooney's Book, Angkor to prepare for the temples. It will help you choose where to go.

You are welcome to view our photos as a preview of Angkor; www.marlandc.com

I had a very good time in my previous trip at Angkor Wat-Cambodia.

Cambodia just a nice place to visit. Peoples in Cambodia are friendly and helpful (but sometime face communication difficulty). You must step into this country cause Cambodia is a 'full of history country'. Worth it.

And we had rong as our guide to temples, he is good English. We keep Bla...Bla...during whole trip. Fun and enjoy. his contact: [email protected]

We have stayed in the Wats Up guesthouse is located in the Wat Damnak area which is a short tuk tuk ride from the Old Market and Pub Street. They have fan and A/C rooms which are clean and comfortable. The location is pretty good as it is within walking distance of the Old Market and the main river of Siem Reap. There are a number of cheap restaurants nearby.
