Good site for Bali hotel bookings? (Four Seasons Sayan)

Any reliable site with good prices YOU'VE ACTUALLY USED?

We're specifically looking for good rates for the Bali Four Seasons Sayan for mid-June.

Thanks!

It is unlikely you will find any site that discounts the FS. I checked balidiscovery which I have used and there is no discount. Asiatravel doesn't even list them. Sometimes there are specials on the FS website - you might give that a try.

Ask Asiatravel if they can find the price for you

I called the resort directly and was able to negotiate a lower rate. Don't book online or call the FS toll free number. Call the resort in Bali.

Hi Chicago_Man --

Just now I tried calling both the resort number (62-361-977577) and the reservation number (62-361-701010). I even tried saying I would stay for 3 nights - and then if I could get a better rate for 4 nights... blah blah blah...

Wouldn't work. Both numbers gave me the exact same rate as on the internet. Did I call the wrong number...?

How long ago was it that you were able to get the better rate with them? Was it for a lot of nights or more than 1 room? And do you mind telling me what rate you got for a villa?

Thanks a lot!!!

Four Seasons is vastly overrated. Last time any of my friends stayed there they also found a poisonous snake in the bedroom. Have stayed in the Pansea, Jimbaran Bay, which was pleasant with cute bungalows. Most romantic place I've stayed at in Bali is the Serai (now the Alila) at Candi Dasa - which has arguably the best restaurant on the island.
The Oberoi is pleasant, but pricey - and if you really want to splurge, try the Aman resorts at Candia Dasa (Amankila) Ubud (Amandari) and at Nusa Dua (Amannusa).
