Just wanted fodorites to know about my good experience with precision reservations.com. We had booked the Anantara Golden Triangle through them as they had the best rates at the time. Just as we are about to leave for our trip, I went to the hotel's web site to get contact information for family here & I saw that they have a promotional rate including breakfast that was a better deal than the Anantara. We had already paid for our stay with Precision Reservations & were way past the cancellation date, but I contacted them through their "love chat" on their website to ask if they would match the rate. They could not because of their contract with the hotel, but told me to booke with the hotel (which I did), cancel with them for a full refund and no cancellation fee. I immediately received notification from them that my credit card was being credited & confirming that there would be no cancellation fee. No hassle & I was very pleased with their responsiveness.

I've been using Precision Reservations for many years - since they were Planet Holiday in fact - have made probably 100 reservations and I've never had a problem with them. I always highly recommend them, both for their rates and their policies.

We also booked with Precision travel for our stay in Chiang Mai. I have to agree that they gave excellent service. Inquiries were answered immediately and their rates were very good.

they did mess up my last minute reservation for Bangkok last year. We booked through their chat function and they never sent us the promised confirmation of our booking by email. When we arrived at the hotel there was no reservation in our name and we spent hours waiting around (not much fun after a long flight) while the hotel staff contacted them. In the end however the problem was fixed.
