Golf in Bangkok
Will be in Bangkok staying at the Conrad Bangkok the first week of January 2009.
Looking for recommendations for two or three different golf courses to play while in BKK. Price not an issue, quality and securing advanced tee time is. Have read good things about the course owned by the Peninsula Hotel. Although private, is it available to non-members? |
send a message to the hotel and ask where they offer privledges....one fantasically interesting course is right across the street from the four seasons hotel---the royal bangkok sports club....this is about one huge block from your hotel...its private but perhaps they have arrangements....

Good to hear from another golfer.
I know nothing about Bangkok (rhkkmk is the best, here on that destination), but Delhi...yes & yours truly is a weekend golfer playing to 16! Enjoy a swing!! |
Sorry but you can not walk into the Royal Bangkok Golf Club and play, member's only. You're not missing much since it's only a par 66 course.
Best 4 best IMO are: Rajapreuk golf course also know as North Park. Hard to get into but if you can it's one of the best that is near the city. Thai Country Club host a lot of the Asian PGA tournaments. Always good condition. Amata Golf Course holds the Royal Trophy tournament, like the Ryder cup but Asia vs Europe. Alpine Golf Course hard to get into as well but well worth it. Long course and host a lot of international tournaments. |
i knew hanuman would have the best options....i still would check with the conrad

Forgot to mention that the Thai Country Club is managed by the Peninsula hotel and I think that's the one you're referring to - "owned by the Peninsula Hotel".
I'm a member at all the clubs I've listed so do let me know if you have any more question. |
Here are a few others to look at.
