Golden Bridge near Da Nang - thoughts?

Hi everyone

I saw photos of this on a few of the Instagram pages I'm following for my upcoming trip to Vietnam. It is a pedestrian bridge overlooking the mountains and there are large hands "holding it up".

It looks like it is between Hue and Hoi An, closest to Da Nang.

During my visit I will be hiring a private driver to take me from Hue to Hoi An when I switch towns.

Is the Golden Bridge along the typical sightseeing route between cities? I read there is a very pretty sightseeing road but I would have to go back and see what the route was called, to go between those two cities. Is the Golden Bridge fairly accessible or somewhat out of the way?

Thanks!

The bridge is in the Ba Na hills, a slightly tacky, theme park resort type place very popular with Vietnamese people. A bit of a diversion, probably an hour or so and not on the usual route, but I see no reason why you couldn’t include it, probably for an extra charge. The normal stops on that route include the beach, Hai Van Pass and the Marble Mountains (allow an hour or two for the latter).
