Tempting air fares and almost a direct flight to Boston! I will see if we can visit at a later date since I cannot plan that far ahead - like BOB!

Too bad it's not ANA - a member of the Star Alliance, which would allow me use my United miles to fly BOS-BKK.

Jeane and I are going to be in Bangkok in November but it will only be for one night. We would love to see you guys again whether its here or there.

Wow - we will look into that. We were planning to go to china, but with these prices perhaps we should do Burma instead. And then we could go to the reunion in Boston ahead of time.

Alternatively we could fly to china from Bangkok. Wondering if china or Burma would be more interesting. Both are on our list and we have about a month.

Did you mean $600 for the return flight only or was that round trip? Just looked on line and found round trip Boston - Bangkok - economy class for no less than $2000 on Japan Airlines. If you found it for less, please let us in on your secret.

dgunbug, price for a "return flight" means the round-trip fare.

The ~$620 fare is valid only if you begin your trip in Thailand. If you begin your trip in the States, the higher fares will apply.
