Thanks for your kind words Kathy.

I have forwarded this info to my pal and I don't see why OAT would take issue with this. A plane ticket is a plane ticket. Hope it works.

i agree, an earlier arrival of a day or two, two would be better.....and not get stuck way out at the rama gardens near the old airport....

Forget all that tourist stuff. How many temples do you need to see? You can have a great time walking around MBK or Siam Square area. Lots of great clothes and other stuff, such as the eatery there. Night is very exciting in Suan Luum and Patpong. I've never been to Jim Thompson's house and never will! So old school and nothing much. Enjoy!

If you like temples, you might consider a day trip to the ruins of Ayutthaya--founded circa 1350, Ayutthaya became the second Siamese capital after Sukhothai. Sukhothai is even more impressive but farther away. Whereas Ayutthaya is close to Bangkok.
I am sure your Bangkok tour will take you to the National Museum, but, if not, do not miss it. Bangkok is very interesting, fun, with great food. Though take care when crossing some streets.
I see you are also going to Cambodia. Angkor Wat and the many other temples around Siem Riep are amazing. Also, the national museum in Phnom Penh is well worth a visit.
