Flying from Bali to Siem Reap

What is the best airline (or combination thereof) to get from Bali to Siem Reap? Or Phnom Penh or even Bangkok for that matter...

Looks like I could take Jetstar from Bali to Singapore, then on to Siem Reap.

Any other suggestions?

There is a non-stop on Thai to/from Bangkok.

Another (much less expensive) option is to take Air Asia from Bali to KL, then board another Air Asia flight to Cambodia. They fly into both PP and SR.

Thanks Kathie

You're right, Air Asia is $60 cheaper than Jetstar...but I think I'd rather stop-over in Singapore than KL....wouldn't I?

Thai's non-stop to BKK is $899!

Jetstar is $239 to Siem Reap.

Hi-

I was actually just looking into these flights (hoping for next summer for myself). Air Asia flies everyday on those routes, while JetStar is only every other day or so.

Rep-Kul 8:35am-11:35am
Kul-Dps 3pm- 6pm (also 2 later flites after this one)

So not too bad of a layover.
Price when I looked was abt $75 inc tax for each leg.

How long a stopover are you thinking? I always enjoy a few days in Singapore. KL is worth a couple of days as well (though I don't find as much to do there as in SIngapore). I guess it depends on where you've been before and what you want to do/see/eat.

Also, KL is less expensive than Singapore.

by stopover I mean a couple of days, just to hit the highlights. I haven't been to either place.

Neither Singapore or KL has ever been high on the list frankly, but seems like might as well stop and have a look since I'm there connecting anyway.

Red-good tip about the "every other day" thing. I must've gotten lucky when I punched in dates...

I know you are interested in weaving, as I am, and there is a great place I've purchased weavings from IN the Central Market in KL. Last time I was there I bought a Khmer silk double ikat with elephants woven into it. It was from a Khmer village in VN.

Hmmm, now you're tempting me.

I'm thinking now about flying Bali to Singapore then taking the train from Singapore to Bangkok...doing so could give me stopovers in Singapore, KL and Penang!
