Flores Itinerary - Feedback Welcome
 

I intend to spend around 12 days in Flores as part of my 5-week stay in Indonesia in Sep/Oct. The other islands I intend to visit are Java, Bali and North Sulawesi. For the benefit of those who haven't read my other threads, my main interests are: natural attractions/scenery, wildlife (would like to see tarsiers but not a must), light to moderate trekking, swimming/snorkelling, culture, cuisine. I am not interested in seeing caves, diving, surfing or partying.

Below is a preliminary itinerary I have prepared for Flores. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to improve it. I also wish to know if it is possible to get a bus to Cunca Wulang and perhaps walk the last part of the journey or if one needs a car + driver. I wouldn't like to ride a motorbike or drive a car myself.

Itinerary

Sunday 7th October - Fly to Labuan Bajo @ 6am via Jakarta

Monday 8th October - Labuan Bajo - Cunca Wulang Waterfall

Tuesday 9th October - Boat trip to Rinca and/or Komodo island

Wednesday 10th October - Labuan Bajo > Ruteng > Spiderweb rice fields > Ruteng (Buses)

Thursday 11th October - Ruteng > Bajawa (Van)

Friday 12th October - Bajawa > Bena > Luba > Tolo Lela > Air Panas Malange > Bajawa Tour

Saturday 13th October - Bajawa > Riung (Van/Ojek)

Sunday 14th October - 17 islands marine park boat tour

Monday 15th October - Riung > Ende (6am bus)

Tuesday 16th October - Ende > Moni (Bus)

Wednesday 17th October - Moni > Kelimutu > Moni (Car + Walk)

Thursday 18th October - Kelimutu > Ende Airport (bus). Fly to Denpasar @ 10:55 or 14:40
