Flooding in Bangkok.

How bad is the flooding which I have been reading about. Heavy rains over Sunday have apparently caused havoc. Anyone in the city who can shed some light please ?

Guess it's an exaggeration.

during the storm the roads were flooded from the heavy deluge but the water quickly subsided after the rain stop. In my soi it was up to knee deep!

I've been in BKK twice when there has been flooding on the streets. It's no big deal!! The water subsides quickly. It is an inconvenience for only a short time. I would not let it concern me.

Flooding in Bangkok during the rainy is very sporadic. It is a big incovenience if you are travelling in the capital at the time, but at the same time nothing too serious to affect your holiday in much way.

Sadly Bob, I don't spend enough time in phi phi phi phi!!
