Floating Market Tour: 3,900 Baht

We leave TODAY for Thailand and I FINALLY received an email back from Roongtham regarding an inquiry I sent a week or two ago.

He said the price for 2 people to the floating market was 3,900 which includes everything. Is that price high? It seems that I have read about others paying much less.

Thanks.

Tamara

Think that we paid about 3200 with surcharge for gas and tip. This was for 2 and the trip began at 0630 and ended about 1700.

i paid ratt less than $100 two years ago which included a full 13 hours of driving---at least twice the sights of just the market along...we went to river kwai as well which is quite far away...

that seems high to me

price should be per car full....does that include rental of a boat or just transportation to and from the market?/ how many hours and what other sites

HAVE A GREAT TRIP...

It's becasue there are only two people. We are finding the same thing. Last year our rate through he and Tan were much better because we had four people.

Have so much fun!! Too bad we miss each other by just a day or so.

if you expect it to cover everthing, make sure it includes the boat tour of the market and not just the long boat ride TO the market.

I paid 700Baht from Bankok hotel. This was not private but with a group os six. Door to door to hotel in air conditioned van, floating market and visit to palm sugar "factory and wood carving "factory" If you go with a small group it's just like a private tour. My tour guide was very attentive. I booked on the internet before I left.
