Flihgt from Chiang Mai to Siem Reap
 

Is it possible to fly from Chiang Mai directly to Siem Reap or do you have to go thru Bangkok? Thanks in advance. Jan

You'd have to go back through Bangkok. No direct flights that I've ever been aware of.

There is a twice a week flight( Thursday and Saturday) on Bangkok Air; we are taking the Sat flight in February

The direct flights only operate in high season november to march.

Is that new?

Started a couple of years ago. Standard fare was ridiculous at 11635 baht (about $350 US) one-way but they had special promotional fares of 8730 and then 6000, both with lots of restrictions. Do not know how much this coming high season as their web site does not show the flight as yet

If you can arrange 3 flights on Bangkok Air you can use Discovery Air Pass which is much more reasonable.

Hmmm--3 flights on Bangkok Air that is something to look into. Thanks for the hint.
