Flying from the NY area- would like to do Cambodia - Siem Riep and Phnom Penh and Phuket. What is the best way to set up this itinerary. We can also do BKK as part of this if that is where we will have to fly into? Any ideas?

You will need to fly to bangkok and from NY you can fly nonstop on thai Air.

Gloria is right, you'll want to fly in to BKK. How much time do you have?

You have a couple of options for flying from JFK to Phuket with one stop. For example via Singapore on Singapore Airlines or via Seoul on Asiana. Fastest outbound would probably be on Austrian Air via Vienna to Phuket.

You should first check out those airlines that you have FF miles with as this trip will get you about 20,000 miles- so that will affect your choice.
