The only pills I took were of the illegal variety in some clubs in Anjuna. They were expensive - about $15 each. What sort of piils are you after?

The food in India is great.

No one was ill although people did have to go to the toilet more often.

India is a great place.

Again from Bob1. I posted this question back on Feb 16. Just arrived home from India. Had a great time and my wife shopped her brains out. Our carpet is on the way!

Thanks for all the advice. I got a little sick one day and was soon over it. My wife sailed through and had a great time. Very unique place to visit and not for everyone...but we enjoyed it much.
