First time going abroad

Hi there! I live in the Philippines, and it's my first time going abroad. I can't wait. However, I can't decide on what place to visit. Here are my choices:

Hong Kong
Shanghai
Bangkok
Singapore
Taipei
Kuala Lumpur

Out of all of them, I prefer Hong Kong and Shanghai the most for the cool climate (the hot climate here in the Philippines is sickening) and for the cosmopolitan vibe. Singapore comes in third. However, I am still open for the other options.

Thank you!

If you visit at the right time of the year, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Taipei will have more moderate weather than the Philippines. Check a good weather website like www.weatherbase.com All of the other places you list will be hot year round.

I've been to all the ones on your list except for Taipei and Shanghai. My order would be Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong because I personally didn't like Hong Kong. I was in Hong Kong Jan/Feb 2017. It's an expensive city. I'll be doing Taipei this coming winter and hope that I like it.

Have fun choosing.

Happy Travels!
