Fall colors in Japan have started later than usual......
 

I seem to remember a certain fodorite predicting that fall would be a little later this year in Japan more than six months ago....... ;)

IIRC it was said that the week of April 3, 2011 would be a nice week to be in Tokyo or Kyoto.

thursdaysd, maybe in the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Pass area of the Alps. It is expensive to do the pass though with the private transport systems....

rizzuto, that is our plan this year to be at Arashiyama in Kyoto 12/2 and Tokyo 12/9. I hope its not too late,lol
