Fac Spa location

We will be arriving in BKK from Australia at 6am after an overnight flight.
After reading the many postings on Face Spa are considering the following:
Arrange taxi to pick us up at airport and drive us (luggage) to hotel which is the Bossotel near the Shangrila Hotel and then have the taxi take us back to Face Spa for a bit of a relax (incase our room isnt available early).
Is this a good idea? or would we be better off chilling at the pool (small but wet) while we await our room?

Final 2 questions - if we book Face would it be easier to go by skytrain then stick with the taxi and battle the traffic? If so, can anyone help me directions from the Shangrila Hotel area to Face please?

Thanks for the quick reply Kim and link.
But as this is our first time in Bangkok the face local map did nothing for me!
Hoping someone in the know will give me directions from the Shangrila hotel area using the skytrain ie station names and then directions from the station (if any of the stations stop close to Face) We wont have a clue getting straight off the plane - or if from the Shangrila Hotel area we would be better of taking a taxi.
thanks again

I always take the skytrain to Face. A taxi will take you longer. Note that the earliest appointments are at 10:00 am, when it opens. Make an appointemnt via the internet.

Directions: Take the Skytrain to Siam. Change Skytrain Lines there. Note that the lines are labeled by their final stop. You want the line that ends at On Nut. Take the Skytrain to Thong Lor. When you get off, walk down Soi 38, Face is not far down the soi.

When you return, you'll take the Skytrain back to SIam, change trains then go to Taksim, where you started.

The map on the website Kim gave you will be helpful to you.
