Experience with Smartours?
 

I am trying to decide which tour company to book a 15-18 day China trip with Three Gorges cruise. Has anyone had experience with Smartours? I am interested in hearing if they are as good as Pacific Delight and China Focus. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Tracy, I have taken 2 tours with Smartours (Thailand and Eastern Europe) and thought they were fantastic! I have not traveled with Pacific Delight or China Focus, so I cannot make a comparison. However, I have traveled with Trafalgar (unfortunately) and believe Smartours to be a much better company, in comparison. You won't be disappointed if you go with Smartours.<BR>

Hi Tracy,<BR><BR>I have made 2 trips with ST (Vietnam/Cambodia and India/Nepal) and just returned from the 12-day Historic Tour of China w/CF.<BR><BR>Both companies are outstanding, great hotels, wonderful guides, good food, can't beat the prices. I think they are just about the same. My deciding factor would be the itinerary.<BR><BR>Hope this help,<BR>Sandy

Hi Tracy,<BR><BR>I have done two trips with Pacific Delights. The first was Bali, Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong and the second was Beijing, Shanghai, Xian and the Yangtsee River. I also did Australia, New Zealand and Fiji with Smartours and found both companies did a fine job. Hotels and guides were comparable. I would not hesitate to travel with either of these two companies. I am now contemplating Borneo and Penang Island with Smartours and am looking for comments on that trip.
