Elephants: Sanctuaries, Riding, Art Shows Documentary
Several years ago i reported here on our trip to Thailand and surroundings. We had the pleasure of spending a day with the saintly Lek Challert, who has made it her life's work to help save elephants.
I was just at the movies and saw a trailer for a documentary about Lek and elephants in general. Doesn't open here until this weekend... but it looks like it will be as beautiful as a visit to her sanctuary was. It's called "Love and Bananas" .
I feel like it will clear up a lot of questions and debate that takes place on this Forum so often.. Will report in after seeing it.
