DVDs on Korean Premium
I'm surprised that nobody in this crowd has not flown Korean Air Premium. This is my second message and there have been no responses, so I'll try again.
I am flying to Bkk and I understand their dvd selection leaves a lot to be desired. My husband and I thought we'd bring some dvds with us, but that would only work if they supply personal dvd players like they do on British Air. Does anyone know the situation? Please help, my husband has a short attention span!! |
Have you looked on the Korean Air website, and/or contacted them by phone or e-mail to ask this question? It seems the airline would be the best source of info on what equipment is available on board.

Thanks for responding. Yes, I have checked the web site. It's not very good. Needless to say I am still none the wiser. Up to now I have avoided calling them, but I guess I'm going to have to do it.

If they have personal DVD players, you also need to make sure that your US DVDs are compatible with their players, as that is not always the case.

I knew there was a reason I could rely on you all. Put enough heads together and we're bound to come up with one brain!!!Just kidding. I never thought of the DVD compatability. It is starting to become a little too complicated for me. My hubby will just have to deal with the long flight. It was great flying to Bali, because the stop-over in Frankfurt broke up the flight for a few hours. This time it's a loooong 17 hours!

As mentioned, they do have personal DVD players available - but the selection pf movies is very limited (4 DVDS to choose from). This option was available from LAX-SEOUL on a 747-400. My husband and I just flew Korean Air Business Class to Australia this month.
