D'Sens in Bangkok: recent reviews?

Has anyone eaten at D'Sens recently?
I would love to hear some reviews.

I will be in Bangok in a few months, but my weak stomach much prefers rich French cuisine to spicy Thai food.

Have not eaten at D'Sens but here are a few alternatives

Les Nympheas in the Imperial Queens Park Hotel on Sol 22 Sukhumvit is in my opinion one of the best french restaurants in Bangkok and at a reasonable cost. Around 1600 baht per person for a 3 course meal without drinks.

Le Banyan, Soi 8 Sukhumvit is rather expensive but has a romantic atmosphere and the food is quite good. The restaurant is housed in a beautifully restored traditional Thai teak house with lovely grounds. Around 3800 baht for two

For cheaper ones under 2500 baht for two try
A L’etageon on Soi 39 Sukhumvit
Le Bistingo off silom Rd
Le Bouchon on Patpong Soi 2

You could also try Lord Jim which is a wonderful seafood restaurant in the Oriental Hotel. Gorgeous setting, excellent service and outstanding and creative food. Or if you really like rich french food try the Normandie in the same hotel.

The last time I ate there was in February but I believe that AskOksana ate there recently. I hope that she will help others with her opinion/review as I had helped her.

I rarely eat French food in Thailand (though we did eat at Coq d'Or in CM when we were there for Royal Flora). However, this year I may hunger for French food after 8 days in Nepal. I remember last trip to Nepal, when we got to Singapore, all I wanted was Italian food!

Thanks Scotters for some other suggestions of French food in Bangkok.
