drop inn bangkok

We have 2 nights in BK before we head off to Bhutan. We're thinking about staying at the Drop Inn. Good idea or not?

dogster Feb 9th, 2008 04:53 PM

I discovered, while searching for the Drop Inn, that it's number 20 on the list of 'girl friendly' hotels.

Sounds like a classy joint to me.

http:bangkok2night is not a good reference for hotels - the web site is aim more towards the information regarding the more seedy aspect of the town.

The listing dogster is referring to is for how friendly the hotel is for bringing prostitute up to the room!

hanuman, and you know this how....? ;-)

Hanuman Feb 9th, 2008 05:46 PM

I'm a prostitute!

Kathie Feb 9th, 2008 05:51 PM

LOL!

filmwill Feb 9th, 2008 06:00 PM

Hanuman Feb 9th, 2008 06:04 PM

I might be cheap but I'm not easy!

I guess it is "man friendly" too, women tourists "sampling" the local color bring their dates there too!

Almost any hotel (except for the Atlanta Hotel) will allow men and women to bring their "guests" back to the hotel, the difference is if you pay any extra money to the hotel or not.

For a cheap hotel that does not allow women or men to bring their "dates" back to the hotel, check this link:

Convenient location, not far from the Landmark Hotel on Sukhumvit and real close to a church.

Well, if it's 'man-friendly' as well, both Mike AND Molly might be happy with their choice.

Or they might be staring at this correspondance in horror...

travelduo Feb 9th, 2008 07:28 PM

SH is that hotel close to Calvary Baptist Church? That's the church we attend in bamgkok and there is a hotel right by there with a big sign in the window that says "sex tourist not welcome"

Hanuman you crack me up!

rhkkmk Feb 10th, 2008 06:05 PM

you should see hanuman when he puts on his red dress!!!

dogster Feb 10th, 2008 06:34 PM

Well, that would explain a very strange night in Bangkok not long ago. I remember a woman of certain years in a red dress. Very high heels, I seem to recall. She was very friendly, strangely so, I thought.

I asked her name - and, to this day, couldn't work out what she said. She leant over me, almost provative in the dim light...

In a gruff voice, strangely at odds with her feminine exterior, she whispered...

'haa - nooo - man'.

I must draw a curtain over what followed.

Could that have been you?

Hanuman Feb 10th, 2008 06:39 PM

So that was you! The john with the bad breath and really small d*!%.

Hanuman Feb 10th, 2008 06:44 PM

You guys are making me blush!

dogster Feb 10th, 2008 06:56 PM

Dear moderator:

I'm sorry this thread has become pornographic. It's all Hunuman's fault.

Dear Miss Haaa-nooo-man:

Shhh. You promised you wouldn't tell.

rhkkmk Feb 10th, 2008 08:27 PM

mollydmike Feb 11th, 2008 12:59 PM
