Driver for delhi rajasthan tour
 

I will be in delhi on my business trip in November for 3 weeks, two weeks like to spend in rajasthan. can anyone suggest me best places to stay and we want a good driver for our tour, Suggest for Driver for our tour.

We used Ramesh Meena for about 3 weeks in Rajasthan and U.P. -- he used to work with Rajasthan 4 Wheel drive, but is on his own now. We found him to be a very safe driver as well as polite and professional -- no "come see my cousin's shop" stuff either. You can reach him at [email protected] or [email protected]. Others on this board have had a good experience with Kumar Taxi, though we did not -- and we also had a bad experience with State Express out of Delhi. And search in this forum for previous posts on hotels. It all depends on your budget but some of the best are the Imperial in Delhi and the Amarvillas in Agra.

While Footprint may have given you some good hotel recommendations Andrew, his itinerary is ridiculous -- WAY, WAY too fast. It takes a day to drive from Bikaner to Jaisalmer -- and a day or a good part of one to drive from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur and Jodhpur to Udaipur, etc. If you followed his schedule, you'd be crazy.

Ramesh Meena will be driving us from Nov. 21st-Dec. 6th. He just sent me a Divali e-card, so I guess we're still on his radar.

Travelaw: we'll be in Delhi No. 16-17, then back on Dec. 7th.
