Doi Inthanon National Park
 

Is it possible to go to Doi Inthanon National Park with a scooter from chiang mai for one day?

Yes you can but it will be a bit of a "pain" riding a small engine bike up the highest peak in Thailand.

It will probably take a couple of hours on a scooter and as Hanuman says it will be a bit of a pain on a small bike. The road out to Doi Intahnon is not a great ride as a lot of it is a busy dual carriage way.(although it is very as you get into the park. There where a number of places hiring bigger bike in CM which would be more suitable. Don't even consider it without the right protective gear!

So maybe it's better then to take the bus then to chom thong,
and then from there go to the park?
